As we approach the new year, Clare and I have been reviewing 2024 and what we’ve achieved with FFEM and planning for 2025!
We’re still 100% passionate that this space needs to exist, and I’d like to ask all our members to spread the word and encourage many more women in the profession to join our community.
After two years of successfully generating content and hosting enriching sessions, we're making some changes for 2025 that we believe will enhance FFEM’s mission and make our resources more accessible, personalised, and impactful than ever before.
Building on Our Foundation
Since its inception, FFEM has been committed to empowering women in their financial services roles, through education and mentorship. Our commitment to this goal remains unwavering, and the changes we're implementing are designed to amplify our impact and reach.
Key Changes for 2025
1. Shift to Online, Pre-recorded Content: Recognising the demands on everyone's time (including our volunteer speakers) and the prevalence of screen fatigue, we're moving our content to YouTube only. This transition from live sessions to pre-recorded material allows you to access our valuable resources at your convenience, fitting seamlessly into your busy schedule.
2. One-on-One Mentoring Sessions: We're introducing personalised mentoring opportunities. You can now request a 30-45 minute session to discuss anything that’s concerning you or you need guidance with. This direct, focused interaction aims to provide tailored guidance and support. If Clare and I cannot help ourselves, we will know someone who can and will reach out to our community to get you the support you need.
3. Enhanced Topic Quality: We're doubling down on our commitment to deliver high-quality, relevant content for women. Expect more in-depth explorations of crucial topics, ensuring you receive the most valuable and actionable information.
4. Expanded Accessibility via NextGen Platform: In an exciting development, all our content will now be available via NextGen Planners on their platform via a specific ‘zone’. This expansion allows us to reach and empower a broader audience of women in finance.
5. Monthly Blog Content: To keep you informed and engaged, we'll be publishing one comprehensive blog post each month. These posts will delve into timely financial topics, offer expert insights, and complement our video content.
6. Changes on Linked In: The FFEM Group hasn’t really ever gained much traction and this will be closing or become dormant - BUT instead there is a new FFEM Page for you to follow HERE and content will also be delivered directly to your inbox as well as posted on this page!
Looking Ahead
These changes reflect our commitment to growth and adaptation. By evolving our approach, we aim to create an even more accessible, flexible, and empowering space for women in finance.
We're responding to your needs – offering convenience without compromising on quality or personal touch.
We're excited about the journey ahead and grateful for your continued support. The shift to pre-recorded content and the introduction of one-on-one mentoring sessions demonstrates our dedication to meeting you where you are, both in terms of schedule, and individual needs.
Here's to a future of confidence, success and achievement in your role!
